Paulina began her formal dance training at the age of six. Over the years, she has studied many forms of dance, but in 1991 she turned her interest towards Belly Dance. She spent two years at the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) studying and performing with the Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble. She has had training in many styles of Belly Dance, including American Cabaret, Egyptian, Tribal, and Traditional Dances from the Middle East. Paulina's personal style now combines the fluidity of traditional Belly Dancing with a slightly westernized and hip flair.

In addition to teaching classes and workshops, Paulina is the instructor on The International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance (IAMED) Belly Dance video series, "The Art of Belly Dance for Beginners." In 2003, she performed in IAMED's "This Is Belly Dance!" Concert at the prestigious Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood, California. Since then she has appeared in several other IAMED videos, many of which are available in our BD-TV Store.
