BD-TV was created by Ana Berna and Scott McClure of Offworld Entertainment, which has been working in the bellydance community since 1999, producing quality video and multimedia products. Our projects have given us the opportunity to work with some of the best artists, vendors, and organizations in the business, such as The International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance (IAMED), The Middle Eastern Culture and Dance Association (MECDA), Alexandra King, Ansuya, Jillina, Anaheed, and many more.

In 2005, Offworld split into two companies... Offworld Multimedia and Roxalot Entertainment. Belly Dance Television is now produced and distributed by Ana Berna and Roxalot, with Offworld as a partner, providing production and post-production services, and technical support.

The mission of Belly Dance Television is to help members of the Belly Dance community share information and ideas, as well as promote themselves and their causes through a widely distributed video-based product. Our goal is to make each volume of BD-TV both educational and entertaining, while constantly striving to grow our subject coverage and audience.

Although we are currently covering stories and events in the United States, as BD-TV grows, with the support of Belly Dancers and enthusiasts around the world, we plan to expand our coverage to include our neighbors on every continent. We believe that this new age of technology can help us bring our wonderful community together and foster a sense of sister and brotherhood on a global scale. Communication is our greatest gift and most powerful tool, and we would like to share this awesome opportunity with our fellow artists.
